On February 21, 2024, SMART and SZBL welcomed the first guests of Tsinghua University's practice team after the New Year.

Teachers led the team members to learn more about the construction and development of the two organizations, the introduction of talents and talent cultivation.

Representatives of Dr. Pan Xiaojing, Guilong, Huang Kai and Gu Zheng told the team members about their own schooling experiences and introduced the research direction of their laboratories. Finally, the team members entered the group of Dr. Ma Lan and Dr. Li Mao and had an in-depth communication and interaction with the two teachers.

Zou Yifan, a member of the detachment, said, "After visiting the Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, I deeply felt the importance and support of the Shenzhen government to scientific research and innovation, as well as the vigor and great potential shown by the laboratory in its initial stage. The laboratory focuses on practical application and transformation, and this kind of engineering thinking shows me the bright future of closely integrating scientific research with industrial development.
