The Protein Therapeutic Design Laboratory at the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Reseach and Translations is dedicated to developing computational methods for designing novel protein therapeutics. The lab aims at pushing de novo designed protein therapeutis such as immune checkpoint inhibitors, cytokines mimics, and enzymes to clinical translations via comprehensive approaches.
Dr. Wei Yang specializes in developing novel computational design methods for protein-protein interactions, with applications in immune regulation, cancer immunotherapy, and blood-brain barrier transport. He has published 16 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as Nature Communications and Chemical Science.
